You caught me.
I'm criminally dedicated to creativity.
I'll share a billion bad ideas before I become a lawyer.
Collin is looking to be a leading Creative Director in the advertising industry. He is currently a senior at Michigan State University majoring in Creative Advertising and minoring in Graphic Design. Here, Collin works as the Creative Director for MSU’s student-run integrated marketing and communications agency, 42pointSEVEN, and serves as the Vice President for the MSU Advertising Association. Additionally, he has been working at Michigan Medicine for over a year as a Marketing and Communications Assistant.
Collin leads many projects for Michigan State: He has worked closely with researchers to develop infographics; managed social media for the Advertising + Public Relations department and developed campaign material to promote scholarships; is currently executing the “MSU4U” campaign to promote the Department of Psychology’s remote M.A and Certificate programs in Program Evaluation; designed icons and website layouts for an upcoming talent portal for the College of Communication Arts and Sciences.
At Michigan Medicine, Collin has helped provide concise, creative, and engaging solutions that increased awareness, supported adoption, and raised satisfaction across Michigan Medicine’s community of clinicians, researchers, learners, and staff. He played a major role in developing the “Be CLEAR” campaign to aid cross-team collaboration and prioritization, and led the design of a new SharePoint Online site for the Continuity and Resiliency program with a ‘user-first’ mentality. He also is responsible for composing the weekly newsletter for Health Information Technology and Services. So far, Collin has published two feature-length articles for Michigan Medicine.
Collin has five older siblings, all of whom played a key role in showing him the world through their diverse lifestyles and interests. His hobbies include learning the piano, hiking, reading, and watching movies. He is excited to finish his last semester of college and take what he’s learned into a full-time position.
